Zhengde four-character mark and of the period (1506 - 1521)
The central roundel painted with a five-clawed dragon amidst lotus scrolls within a double circle, the well with two further five-clawed dragons amidst scrolling lotus, the reverse similarly painted below the flaring rim and above a ruyi band
7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) diam.
