The mother-of-pearl 18th Century
The wood lining applied all over with mother-of-pearl finely carved in relief on a rectangular panel on the top with a gentleman seated on a low table, a lady holding a fan, a boy playing with two dogs and an attendant, all on a terrace between two buildings in a riverscape, between floral cartouches and trellis-ground borders carved in lower relief and repeated on the sides, applied with a silver arch handle,
10¼ x 6 x 2¾ in. (26 x 15 x 7 cm.)
