A pair of Meissen (Marcolini) pierced quatrefoil baskets
each with branch handles terminating in four feet, painted to the interior with loose sprays of flowers, the exteriors painted with vignettes of figures within scroll-moulded panels and applied with flowering branches, blue crossed sword and star marks, incised A55, the porcelain circa 1800, the decoration later (small chips and minor rubbing to gilding) -- 24cm. wide
