Blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter F for 1758, painter's mark for Buteux l'ainé, both incised H
Each painted with a trophy of love amidst fruit and flowers reserved on the mottled green-ground within a gilt ciselè cartouche of grasses and flowers, gilt dentil rims
2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, the cup; 4¾in. (12cm.) diam., the saucer
