Of rectangular outline, the cream colored enamelled case of landscape motif, decorated with enamelled green and black foliage, green and blue birds in flight and two figures in European peasant costumes, the cover set with a mother-of-pearl and hardstone inlaid plaque, centering upon a bird, with rose-cut diamond scroll motif trim, opening to reveal a mirror and two covered compartments, mounted in 18k gold, (some enamel repair), circa 1920's
