Centering upon a carved hardstone female bust adorned by a diamond collet head ornament, within a surround of gold wirework tresses, accented by old European-cut diamond detail and a pear-shaped diamond terminal, set against a carved opal frame, to the rose colored plique-à-jour enamelled border, enhanced by pear-shaped and rose-cut diamond foliate motifs and trim, mounted in gold, circa 1901
