Set with a cut-cornered rectangular-cut ruby, weighing approximately 15.01 carats, flanked on either side by half-moon-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum and gold, in a brown suede case
With certificate 9606625 dated 18 June 1996 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the ruby is of Burma (Myanmar) origin and shows no indication of thermal treatment; accompanied by an appendix stating that the ruby of 15.01 carats displays a saturated and homogeneous colour as well as internal features indicative of gemstones which have not undergone thermal treatment. Such a combination of properties is rarely encountered in rubies of this size
