A George III part spiral-fluted tapering circular porringer on a rim foot and with a rope-twist body band, two friezes of stamped stylised foliage, and two fluted scroll handles, the front with a vacant cartouche surrounded by chased flowers and foliage, the underside later-engraved with a name, possibly Samuel Whitford or Samuel White, London 1761 - 4in., 7.25oz.
