A massive Bakhtiari carpet, the fox-red field with angular floral sprays, serrated cone-devices, palmettes and flowerheads in ivory, shades of red, pistachio-green, yellow, blue and indigo around large stepped and serrated floral medallion with palmette pendants, similar indigo spandrels surrounded by shaded dark-blue wide border of stylised large palmette and meandering vine between ivory and fox-red flowering vine stripes, small areas of slight wear, one end repaired --20ft. x 13ft.8in.(609cm. x 416cm.)
