A George III mahogany and ebony strung enclosed washstand, with a rising adjustable plate, the oval panel hinged top enclosing recesses with a tambour slide below, fitted with two short and a long drawer on square chamfered legs united by an undertier and carrying handle to either side, terminating in castors -- 20in. (51cm.) wide, 18in. (46cm.) deep, 38in. (96cm.) high.
