A late 18th/early 19th century Russian ivory workbox, the rising cover and sides pierced and carved with foliate ornament, on tinsel panels, within beaded borders, the interior lined in silk with a subsiduary conforming cover, the frieze drawer to the front fitted with spools and sewing implements, (distressed) -- 10in.
