A late George III mahogany satinwood banded and strung linen press, the upper part with a moulded cornice and arcaded pendant frieze, enclosed by a pair of doors inset with oval papier mache panels, painted after Francis Wheatley with a shepherd and a woodsman within a gilt foliate surround, the lower part fitted with two short and two long drawers on outswept bracket feet, adapted -- 56in. (142cm.) wide, 24in. (61cm.) deep, 87in. (221cm.) high.
