A North European transitional, tulipwood, kingwood-banded and ormolu-mounted breakfront commode, with canted angles and later marble top, fitted with two long drawers with interlaced banding between simulated fluted angles on cabriole legs terminating in claw sabots, late 18th century -- 45in. (114cm.) wide, 33½in. (85cm.) high, 22½in. (57.5cm.) deep.
