An Italian ebony-veneered and ivory inlaid console table and mirror, with ebonised mouldings decorated with arabesques, mythical beasts, urns of fruit with fountains and satyrs, the shaped arched bevelled plate with a broken pediment centred by an urn and flanked by pilaster stiles, the demi lune console centred by a young maiden with an attendant cupid in a wooded setting and bordered by cherubs, supporting cornucopiae and with oval panels inscribed indistinctly Francesco Petrarca, Rafaello Sansio & Salyatora Como, on square tapering legs joined by cross stretchers, centred by an urn on bun feet -- 41in.
