A French ebonised, gilt-metal mounted and inlaid circular centre table, veneered in scarlet tortoiseshell and inlaid with a marquetry of cut brass with designs of interlaced foliate scrolls with husks and paterae, the top centred by a figure of Zeus on his horse-drawn chariot and with a husk and gadrooned edge, on cabriole legs, headed with scroll and foliate ornament joined by shaped cross-stretchers centred by an urn on scroll feet with castors, 19th century -- 49in.
