A matched pair of Dutch walnut, marquetry and strung cabinets-on-stands, in the late 17th century style, decorated with ebonised reserve panels of foliate scrolls and floral sprays with ribbon-tied hanging baskets, vases, birds and butterflies, each with a moulded cornice and cushion frieze, one fitted with shelves, the other with twenty drawers about a central enclosed cupboard, enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, the stands fitted with a drawer on inverted cup, and ring-turned supports joined by undulating stretchers on bun feet, one -- 29½in.
