A German stoneware tankard and cover, with twist handle and mask spout, the body formed as four bowed cylinders joined at top and base, applied allover with various coats-of-arms, rosettes, cherub's heads and foliage above a circular-section foot, the space between the cylinders applied with a model of the infant Bacchus, the cover finial modelled as an old toper, generously enriched in cobalt, circa 1900 -- 19in. high
