Two Sicilian blue and white maiolica albarelli, one of squat straight-sided form, painted with trompe-l'oeil marbleised sections within blue borders of stylised flowerheads (chips and hairline cracks) -- 7 1/8in. high; and another, of straight-sided waisted form, painted with stylised scrolling foliage within diaper-pattern borders (chips and fritting), 17th Century, probably Trapani -- 6½in. high
