A Walton group of the SONGSTERS, typically modelled as a seated lutanist and standing pipe player, a seated hound and bird at their feet, wearing simple dress before a flowering bocage, the titled mound base moulded with scrolls, painted in colours (some minor damage and restoration), impressed banner mark to the reverse, circa 1815 -- 8in. high
