(9.2cm.) long; two others similar with ribbed collar -- 3in. (7.6cm.) long av.; a larger bronze socketed axe head, the body decorated with three short ribs on either side, each terminating with a boss, from Whitstable, Kent; and another with curved blade, from the Thames at Putney -- 4 1/8in.
