A Cypriot bichrome ware pottery jug, the squat rounded body on ring base with grooved handle, decorated with concentric circles and encircling bands, central crossed motif, the pinched spout with 'eyes' on either side -- 6¾in. (17.1cm.) high, 700-600 B.C.; and a similar white painted ware jug, with dark encircling bands and curling 'tail' extending below the handle -- 7½in. (19cm.) high, 850-700 B.C. (2)
