A large Chinese hanging scroll painted in ink and colours on silk depicting storks in flight, among hydrangea and perched on the branch of a leafy tree, two swallows in flight to the side -- 59½in. X 39in., signed; and a Japanese kakemono painted in colours and gilt on paper with a Buddha standing on a lotus petal base and surrounded by flaming mandorla, flanked to either side by six acolytes and below eight lines of calligraphy -- 18½in X 10¾in., signed.
