The following two lots were commissioned by Count Demidoff-San Donato from the Italian artist G. Prodocimi. They are copies of his uncle, Prince Demidoff's, (1812-1870) renowned collection which ws sold in Florence on 15 March 1880. There is currently an Exhibition devoted to Anatole Demidoff, Prince of San Donato at the Wallace Collection. He married Princess Mathilde in 1840.
