A pair of George II cast baluster candlesticks on rising shaped circular bases and with knopped stems, waisted sockets and unmarked shell-decorated detachable nozzles, each chased with rococo flowers, fluting, foliage and shells and engraved with rococo armorials within C-scroll cartouches, the nozzles engraved with the same armorials, probably John Cafe, London 1755 - 9in., 44oz.
