A gilt-metal striking mantel clock, inset with blue porcelain plaques and flanked by winged female caryatids, the broken arch pediment hung with swags below porcelain urn finial with swan neck handles, on toupie feet, with Roman chapters in individual cartouches, the twin going barrel movement striking on a bell, with key and pendulum, French, late 19th century -- 16½in.(42cm.) high.
