A Minton majolica jug of tall tapering form moulded in relief with figures in rural costume modelled dancing and drinking beneath a neck incised with triangles, the base moulded with a broad band of cell pattern ornament and crosses, with angular handle, enriched in green, blue, yellow, ochre and brown glazes (restoration and hairline cracks), impressed marks and date code for 1863 -- 10in. high
