A pair of Meissen (Punkt) figures modelled as a young gardener and his companion after original Sèvres models probably based on sculptures by Claude-Louis Suzanne after drawings by Francois Boucher, each modelled standing, the lady holding flowers in her apron, the gardener offering her flowers in his hat, above rocky-moulded bases, enriched in colours and gilt (chips, damages and repairs), blue crossed swords and dot marks, circa 1760 -- 8¾in. high
