A one-page typed letter, signed, by Edward, from Government House, Bahamas, 29th April, 1941, to "Dear Doc" thanking him for his hospitality and stating that: "The Duchess and I are still contemplating a 'Convertible New Yorker' but certain complications have arisen as regards it being delivered in this Colony," in original envelope; a three-page autograph letter, signed, by Wallis, from Government House Bahamas, 14th November 1941, to the same correspondent, thanking him for the flowers;" a one page typed letter, signed by Wallis, from Government House, Nassau, 6th May 1944, asking him for advice on a chauffeur; and 23 informal photographs of the Duke and Duchess relaxing with friends and playing games; together with other related memorablia.
