A one-page typed letter, signed, from The White House, Washington, December 27th, 1935, to "Doc," thanking him for his good wishes and wishing him a Happy New year with the original envelope; a secretarial letter inviting Holden to dinner at The White House, with an embossed invitation and a response card, all with original envelopes; together with seven informal photographs, four depicting Roosevelt including one of him in a wheelchair during a Presidential cruise in 1935, L. 7 x 5in. (lightly browned, crudely mounted); and a card containing the autographs of Woodrow Wilson, Robert Lansing and Tasker Bliss. (a lot)
