Lot Essay

The 306 mould was created by S.F.B.J. for the visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and His Majesty King George V1 to Paris in 1938. A pair of dolls, named France and Marianne, from this mould in a larger size were sent from the Children of France to the then Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose, complete with extensive wardrobe designed by major Paris houses
