A rare Märklin Gauge III (75mm) high-pressure live-steam 'Wurttemberg' 4-4-0 Locomotive and eight-wheel bogie Tender, Cat. Ref. W4023,
locomotive details include twin double-acting cylinders with piston valves and cylinder drain cocks, steam reversing-block activated from track or by hand, 'Perfect' vaporising spirit-firing to central fire tube boiler, safety-valve filler, pressure gauge, sight glass (removed and by-passed), whistle, feed-water pump supplied from tender tank, electric headlamp wired to tender battery-compartment, and usual external detail (locomotive F, repainted), tender details including cast-iron sprung bogies, water tank (filler lid loose), battery compartment for headlamp and tool boxes, in original red-lined black livery, circa 1914 (tender F, slightly dull) --locomotive 26½in. long from buffers to cab roof, tender 17¼in. long overall
