An early Victorian four-piece fluted inverted pear-shaped tea and coffee service on rising circular bases and with chased floral and foliate decoration and leaf-capped scroll handles, the teapot and coffee pot with chased and fluted leaf-capped rising curved spouts and domed hinged covers with flower and foliate finials, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined, maker's initials R.H., possibly Robert Harper, London 1839, 1841, 1842 and 1843 - height of coffee pot 9¾in., 81oz.
