A pearlware figure of John Liston as 'Sam Swipes' in 'Exchange No Robbery', modelled standing in the guise of the character, above a square-section base inscribed No! am I a Gentleman? Upon your Soul tho' Mither(sic.), enriched in coloured enamels, circa 1826-30 -- 6¼in. high
