Lot Essay

From information presented in Dechert this Hansa Canon is relatively early with a 2xxx series baseplate and black-faced Nikkor lens. The top plate has no A-R engraving which was introduced in 1936 and the accessory shoe shows the 'half-moon' cut-outs on the upper lip.
