From 1986, batch numbered 1669351-1674350.
The Jesse Owens Collection was assembled by Leitz in the United States and was limited to less than 300 sets. Each was accompanied with a special portfolio which included modern prints of photographs by Rubelt and other photo-journalists who worked at the 1936 Olympic games.
Fewer than the projected 300 sets were made. As was usual with Leitz special editions each camera was assigned a regular serial number and a special letter/number combination. However, ten sets were given Roman numerals from I to X and this set is the final one of that group.
