A hanging scroll painted in ink and colours on paper depicting two birds perched on the branch of a flowering magnolia tree above prunus, peonies and daisies issuing from rockwork (paper worn and creased) -- 46¼in.x 24¾in., signed Zou Yigui (1686-1772), dated yimao year, 5th month (1735), following the Northern Song artist Xu Chongsu (11th Century), one seal.
