Although un-dated the above cap was awarded for season 1952-53. In the Home Championship match against Scotland, played on 18th October 1952 at Cardiff, Wales lost 1-2. In the Home Championship match against England, played on 12th November 1952 at Wembley, Wales lost 2-5. In the Home Championship match against Northern Ireland, played on 15th April 1953 at Belfast, Wales won 3-2. In the Friendly match against France, played on 14th May 1953 at Paris, Wales lost 1-6. In the Friendly match against Yugoslavia, played on 21st May 1953 at Belgrade, Wales lost 2-5.
