A gourd shaped ewer and domed cover painted and gilt with shaped panels of monkeys playing around flower carts, scholars in river landscapes, ladies studying in interiors, cages of butterflies and children at play before snow covered pavilions, all on a ground of scattered flowerheads between formal borders (cover restored) -- 5in. high, signed Kozan (Furuyama).
