A gold laquer four case inro decorated in hiramakie and nashiji with roundels containing birds and insects among prunus, peonies, crysanthemums and other flowers, the interior nashiji (slight rubbing and minute chip) -- 3¼ in. long, signed; with attached ivory netsuke modelled as a sennin carrying a gourd flask seated on rockwork -- 1¾ in. long.
