A black and gold lacquer four case inro decorated in hiramakie, scattered nashiji and kirigane, and applied in silver, copper and gilt bronze with a cockrel in flight above bamboo, the reverse with a stoat among similar branches, the interior in nashiji (minute chips) -- 3¼in. long, signed; and a kagamibuta netsuke with ivory bowl and inset bronze disc inlaid in silver with chrysanthemums and bamboo -- 1½in. diam.
