A pair of famille verte baluster jars and domed covers, each painted with a continuous scene of butterflies and insects in flight above ducks, frogs and fish in a pond among lotus flowers and leaves, the shoulders with cartouches of frogs and further insects on a flowerhead and swastika ground (one cover with slight restoration, some enamel rubbing) -- 16½in. high.
