A German foliate-decorated vase-shaped two-handled cup on a fluted and foliate-decorated rising circular foot, the body applied with several enamelled town armorials and with two laurel wreath and bow cartouches engraved with dates - 16½in. overall, on a mounted and shaped ebonised wood base applied with two seated classical figures, one emblematic of industry, the other of agriculture, one side with a strapwork, foliate and stylised shell cartouche engraved with a vignette of a building, the other side with a conforming cartouche with presentation inscription - length of plinth 17½in.
