A German early 17th Century parcel-gilt goblet on a lobed rising circular foot and with a conforming baluster stem, the bowl chased with rural vignettes surrounded by vases of flowers and C and S-scrolls and applied with a narrow reeded frieze, Augsburg circa 1620, the rim scratch-engraved with a date 1630 - 5¾in.
