An unusual fully rigged model of the 58-gun warship 'Amelia' -- 47 x 59in (119.5 x 150 cm)
With bound masts, spars, standing and running rigging, full suit of stitched linen sails with rope bindings and reefing points, carved lion figurehead, hair rails, anchors and catheads, belaying rails and pins, deck rails, carved and decorated balustrading, caryatids, gratings and carved decorated stern and quarter galleries with trumpeters, coat-of-arms, male figures, acanthus leaves, scrolls and tourelles. Finished in varnish and brown with much green and gilded decoration (some old minor damages). Stand
