A well presented fibreglass, wood and metal live steam spirit fired model of the river launch 'Melita' built by D.T.Warren --12 x 41in (30.5 x 104cm)
Powerplant details include braised copper cross tube boiler with filler/safety valve, pressure gauge,level test cock and lagged steam line to twin cylinder four pillar Saito engine with oil tank and pipes to main bearings, displacement lubricator, exhaust seperator tank, disc flywheel and single shaft to three bladed propellor. Hull details include planked deck, navigation lights, anchor, spray hood, aft cockpit with seats, table and canopy over and other details. Finished in white, green, varnish and polished brightwork, carrying craddle, tools, engine drawings and reverse mechanism (detached) ; and a well detailed electric powered wooden model of a twin screw, twin cockpit speedboat of circa 1935, with deck fittings including hand rails, navigation lights, horns, windscreen, fore and aft cockpits, the hull with two N8K motors and twin rudders.
