A finely carved, unrestored, contemporary mid-19th Century builder's full hull, unrigged model of a 50-gun Fourth Rate -- 9 x 46in (22.8 x 116.8 cm)
With deck details including hair rails, heads, belaying rails and pins, Camson posts, catheads with star decorations and sheaves, gratings, stove-pipe, hammock nettings, 'tween decks with gratings, shot-racks and shot, stove, capstan and other fine carving, double ship's wheel, deck lights, the bulwarks with cleats, rings for gun tackle and other brass fittings. The hull, carved from the solid, has chain plates and dead eyes, scuppers and carved and decorated quarter and stern windows. Finished in black, white and varnish with green bulwarks with red to the waterline (some old damages). Stand and display base
