A mid-19th Century fully rigged boxwood model of a 50-gun Fourth Rate, with bound masts, rigging and full suit of paper sails, hair rails, belaying rails, capstan, deck rails, bell canopy, ship's boat with thwarts. Finished in varnish, black and red (some old damages, some pieces missing) --4 x 5¼in (10 x 13cm). Decorated wood base and domed glass cover.
