"The sunflower railings that surrounded Barnard, Bishop & Barnard's Iron Pavillion, exhibited at the 1876 Philadelphia Exhibition and again in Paris in 1898, were re-used by Jeckyll as fire-dogs. Executed in gilt bronze as well as black lacquered iron, they are the epitome of Anglo-Japanese taste."
