A William IV woven wirework campana-shaped trophy cup on a rocaille-decorated rising shaped circular base applied with tendrils and foliage, the lower part of the body applied with a frieze of trailing vines, the upper part with overhanging acanthus leaves, each side applied with a foliate-bordered shield-shaped cartouche, one with interesting presentation inscription:"Presented to John Bagshaw Esqr., MP by the Directors of the Northern and Eastern Railway Company 5th. August, 1836", the other side engraved with an armorial, crest and motto, Robinson, Edkins & Aston, Birmingham 1834 - 10¾in., 50.25oz. See Cover Illustration
