An antique Kazak Karatchopf rug, the shaded blue field with central large ivory octagon with chequered spandrels containing variety of hooked panels surrounded by small hooked motifs and chequered panels, similar larger panels with hooked motifs and stellar flowerheads at each end in pistachio-green, yellow, fox-brown brick-red and ivory between brick-red serrated leaf and glass motif border and outer zig-zag stripes, areas of slight wear, repaired --6ft.5in. x 5ft.4in.(196cm. x 163cm.)
